Stop At: Eco-Adventure Park at Harrison’s Cave, Welchman Hall Barbados
At the heart of Barbados lies one of its greatest wonders – the magnificent Harrison’s Cave. Located in the central uplands of the island, this crystallized, limestone cave is characterized by flowing streams, deep pools of crystal clear water and towering columns. Gaze in wonder at the white flow stones and in awe at the beauty of the speleothems which adorn the cave. In 1981, Harrison’s Cave was officially opened to the public. The Boyce Tunnel, named after equipment operator Noel Boyce who broke ground to open the cave’s natural passageways, leads to the entrance of the cave. Beyond this point, Harrison’s Cave is a massive stream cave system that is at least 2.3 kilometres long.

Stop At: Animal Flower Cave, North Point Barbados
The Animal Flower Cave is located at the most northerly point of Barbados in the parish of St.Lucy.
The name “Animal Flower Cave” comes from the sea anemones found in the pools of the cave. Some of these pools are deep enough for you to swim in.
There are also several openings looking out to sea, offering spectacular views!

Stop At: Barbados Wildlife Reserve, Farley Hill Barbados
This is the animal kingdom of Barbados, where you can stroll freely among animals feeding and playing in their natural environment. Here you can see agouti, armadillo, Brocket deer, pelicans, and caimans. Monkeys are most abundant at afternoon feeding time. Reptiles include snakes, iguanas, turtles, and tortoises. parrots, flamingos, and peacocks share the premises, adding bright splashes of colour. Only the more dangerous animals, such as pythons are kept enclosed. Top Tip: Arrive by 2pm to see the monkeys, especially the babies being fed!

St. Nicholas Abbey is a Heritage Great House, Railway and Distillery attraction show casing life on the 17th Century Plantation. Visit to enjoy Barbadian History including a delightful movie of the island and plantation c. 1935. The tour consists of the railway and tour of the great house, movie, house museum. Visitors get a chance to sample our award winning rum and view the distillery and steam mill grinding cane in the crop season January to May. Our Terrace Cafe serves light lunches in the peaceful relaxing setting of the lush garden gully. HOUSE CLOSES AT 5.00PM. The train journey through the plantation fields Mahogany forests and the breathtaking views from Cherry Tree Hill where visitors can help turn the locomotive! Enjoy!!!”

Independence Square is located on the waterfront in the heart of the capital city of Bridgetown and is a lovely spot to relax and take in the sights and sounds.
Take a seat on the benches lining the waterfront to enjoy a view of historic Bridgetown including the Parliament Buildings and National Heroes Square.
Several vendors offer local crafts and light refreshments on the bridge at the western end of Independence Square so be sure to stop by to take a look and maybe purchase a gift or two!

Carlisle Bay is a small natural harbour located in the southwest region of Barbados. The island nation’s capital, Bridgetown, is situated on this bay which has been turned into a marine park. Carlisle Bay’s marine park is a popular spot on the island for scuba diving.

Gun Hill Signal Station, located in the parish of St.George, provides magnificent and captivating views of the entire island!
You’re first greeted by beautifully landscaped gardens with tropical flowers of every colour! The signal station beckons you up the winding path, pass historic lamps and tempting garden benches, to behold the panoramic views.

Stop At: Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill, Morgan Lewis Barbados
Morgan Lewis Windmill is located in the northern parish of St. Andrew overlooking the eastern coastline of the island and the Scotland District.
Morgan Lewis is one of the only two intact and restored sugar mills in the Caribbean. The other is at Betty’s Hope Estate on one of our sister islands, Antigua.
Stroll the beautifully landscaped grounds for a 360° view of the historic mill. You can also choose to explore the interior of the mill on either a guided or self-guided tour.
