If you come to Costa Rica for wildlife and its natural environment and do not go to Corcovado National park then you will be missing the best part of it.
Itinerary
Day 1: Departure fron Drake Bay to Sirena Station in Corcovado National Park
Stop At: Sirena Ranger Station, Corcovado National Park Costa Rica
This is the core of Corcovado National Park and home of 3.5% of the biodiversity of the world and also the place with the major concentration of wildlife per square kilometer, and also considered the best national park of the world.
This trip leaves Playa Colorada, Drake Bay at 6:00 am for a 50-minute boat ride to Sirena beach. From the beach, we go to Sirena Station because we need to drop the luggage not needed during the hike so we start exploring trails.
Hikes are walked at a casual pace to allow time for observation and asking questions. Lunchtime is around 10:30 am for roughly an hour. After resting another walk takes place until 5:30 pm, ending back at Sirena Station.

Accommodation included: The night is spent at Sirena Ranger Station in bunk beds with mosquito nets pillow and clean blankets.
Day 2: Early night walk and departure to Drake Bay from Sirena Station at 11.30 am
Stop At: Sirena Ranger Station, Corcovado National Park Costa Rica
The next day starts at 5:00 am for a sunrise hike followed by breakfast at the station at 6:30 am. After breakfast, we’ll go to pack everything to have it ready to depart when the time comes. We’ll continue hiking until lunch at the station at 10:30.
The boat leaves Sirena´s beach from 11:30 am to 12.30 pm, arriving back to Drake Bay around 2:00 pm.
