What to Expect When Visiting La Fortuna de San Carlos, Province of Alajuela, Costa Rica

This amazing tour combines horseback riding with the beautiful view of the of the famous Costa Rica’s nature. You will be picked-up at the hotel by a bilingual guide to start your tour.
The canopy experience will give you a completely different perspective of the rain forest as you sail through the canopy on 11 different cables of lengths up to 350 meters and heights up to 80 meters. These cables will take you soaring over the Arenal River. You will see a variety of tropical birds and possibly monkeys and sloths.
In the horseback mountain trail you will be surrounded by the lush flora and fauna of this tropical environment. The trail (appropriate for both beginners and experienced riders) will take you through pastures, along dirt roads, and across rivers. After dismounting, we will hike through the rainforest for about 20 minutes as we descend to the rain forest where we will have the opportunity to sit back and relax. After our refreshing we will return to our horses and complete our horseback riding adventure.
You will be dropped-off at the hotel at the end of your experience.
