He started the Zoo from his residence in Santa Cruz. His collection become bigger, so he decide and getting a bigger place. By 2004 he relocated his animals to a 158 acre property of which approximately 25 acres is being used with other plans of interest. With Mr. Paul Fearon big dream of animals love, he decided on sharing his animals with the world, so decide on building Zoo name the Jamaica Zoo, which its originally called “Value P Zoo”.  The Zoo is consist of over 30 different animals and birds, some of which are still being housed in Santa Cruz; 25 different types of species, which will be increasing over years ahead.

Family of Mr. Paul Fearon wanted to name the zoo after their late father, but he decided he wanted to represent his country (Jamaica), so name it ‘Jamaica Zoo”. The logo with black elephant represent power and smartness. Come to Jamaica Zoo and learn more history and enjoy the lovely view of different animals and more.
