Day 1: San Jose to Tortuguero
Pass By: TRYP by Wyndham San Jose Sabana, 3rd Av, 38th And 40th Street, Mantica, San José Province, Paseo Colon, 01000, Costa Rica
An early start this morning to get on the road to Tortuguero. Meet up with your Local Host and crew in San Jose and it’s off to the east coast!
Pass By: Braulio Carrillo National Park, Quebrada Gonzalez, Carr. San Jose Limon KM 2, Heredia, Costa Rica
We’ll stop for breakfast enroute and see the lush greenery of Braulio Carillio National Park before arriving into Tortuguero town.
Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
Taking a scenic ride through the canals, we’ll arrive at our lodge accommodation to a warm welcome and delicious lunch. The afternoon is all about sightseeing along the inland canals and quaint township before heading back for a hearty first night dinner and maybe even a little Tortuguero nightlife.

Day 2: Tortuguero
Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
A full day of nature and turtles awaits after you fuel up at breakfast. First, a guided hike along the local nature trails. Your Trip Manager is a walking bird and jungle animal guru so stick close as they show you all the hidden wildlife gems.

After lunch, head to the Sea Turtle Conservancy to learn how your involvement is positively impacting the conservation of the various sea turtle species that migrate through or live in Costa Rica.

Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
Tonight is an unmissable evening down on the beach with a local (and most importantly, fully accredited) Turtle Ranger. They’ll show you the turtles in their natural habitat, unhindered and undisturbed by human interference as they nest or welcome new baby turtles into the marine world.
