What to Expect When Visiting Playa Hermosa, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica

Itinerary
Be picked up from your hotel at 7:20am and head for an amazingly beautiful place by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park, where the vegetation is lush and wildlife is abundant. Start your day with a non-alcoholic tropical fruit cocktail and then saddle a well trained and real Costa Rican working horses, which will take you on a scenic ride through the pastures and up the hills until getting to the famous waterfall ziplines. On the first 3 of the 10 cables you be flying eye-in-eye by the majestic Salitral Waterfall, an experience that you will never forget.
After all this excitement you will sit down for a lunch, that includes all of the country’s specialties
Following lunch will be the relaxing part of the day. Go into the volcanic natural sauna which is heated by the fumarole from underneath, then apply the slightly sandy, fresh volcanic mud on your skin in order to detoxify and exfoliate. You will have a look at an active volcanic fumarole and see where the volcanic mud comes from, then rinse off and finish this experience in the natural hot spring pools. These pools are hot to medium in temperature, as well as one that is really cold.
