In Costa Rica the sugar cane is a very important element to help the economy of the country, because thanks of that Costa Rica produces a very good quality sugar and rum.
The tour will contemplate from the moment of cane is grown, cut, its processing and extraction in the sugar mill, until its fermentation process through the stills, the storage of the alcohol in the barrels and finally its tasting.
The intention is for the tourist to be part of this experience, to even place the seed, to cut cane, to know how the stills work where the alcohol is extracted, that is, to experience the process and learn. Also knows the importance of sugar cane and the multiple products that can come from a single plant.
