What to Expect When Visiting Potrero, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica
Discover the world of Scuba Diving with a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience. This half day experience will have you exploring the underwater world and observe some really cool marine life.
This is a two-part experience that begins in a pool for approx 30 minutes. First we will teach you some basic scuba skills to get you ready for the big ocean dive, this is really easy and so much fun to take your first breath underwater. This can be completed on the afternoon before your Ocean dive, or early on the same morning as your Ocean dive (approx 6:30am).
Next, you will board a diving boat with your Instructor and head out to Las Catalinas Islands for an unforgettable scuba diving experience. You will dive down to a maximum depth of 12m/36ft and see some amazing sea creatures. The Las Catalinas Islands are home to huge schools of fish, Octopus, Eels, Rays, Angel Fish, Sea Horses, so much more and the seasonal specialties the Giant Manta Rays.
Meet time is 7:30am with a boat departure at 8:30am and a return to port at approximately 12:30pm
The boat ride itself is an experience giving you a panoramic view of the Guanacaste coastline and the opportunity to sea Dolphins playing near the boat.
