During the ride you can experience canter and trot and the more experienced can try their hand at a gallop along the beach. It is the most beautiful oceanfront boulevard in the Dominican Republic. And you will understand when you see the multiple white sand beaches that line the main avenue of the city, each with its name. Apart from the beach days in the city center, the long and shady sidewalk of the boulevard is ideal for morning or night walks, the sunrises here are spectacular. You can also stop at one of the different bars and restaurants that border the Malecon, or take a bike ride along the bike path. Enjoy the breeze, have a drink at sunset or exercise walking along the Malecon to Long Beach. Numerous events are held throughout the year along the boulevard, including the Carnival of Puerto Plata.
