Stop At: Bayahibe, Bayahibe, La Altagracia Province, Dominican Republic
We will pick you up in a comfortable minibus with A/C and, after around 1 hour drive, we will reach the fishing village of Bayahibe and here we will get aboard a brand-new speedboat to start our adrenaline ride to Saona. In this special and exclusive tour we will visit 3 different beaches! Plus we’ll make a stop to see the mangroves and another one at the natural pool.

Stop At: Saona Island, Cotubanamá National Park Dominican Republic
Get ready for a thrilling 45 minutes speedboat ride through the crystalline blue waters of the Caribbean Sea! Once arrived in Saona our first stop will be at “Playa Abanico”. This is the beach where most of the tourists visiting Saona go on a tour. We will visit this beach in the morning when most of the people doing the tour in catamaran have not arrived yet. We will stop here for 20-25 minutes around.

Our second stop will be at “Playa El Toro”, an unspoiled and virgin beach where tourists usually don’t stop. Here we will have a drink all together while exploring the beach and you can have a bath in the blue waters and let nature embrace your senses. We will spend here around 30 minutes.

Stop At: Saona Island, Cotubanamá National Park Dominican Republic
From there, we will go back to our speedboat to move again and reach now the small village of Mano Juan and its beach. Mano Juan is the only inhabited portion of Saona Island. Only about 3% of tourists who come to the island have the opportunity to visit the village, because the major tour operators that sell the tour by catamaran do not include it in their programs. Today around 300 people live in Mano Juan even if the community got electricity only in the recent years thanks to solar panels. Here we will visit also the Sea Turtle Sanctuary and learn how the locals are now protecting the different species, and will have a tasty lunch, buffet style, in a reserved area. We’ll spend here around 2 hours and you’ll have all the time to enjoy the beach, explore, relax and swim in the blue waters. (If you wanna do some snorkeling please bring with you the equipment).

In the afternoon the adventure goes on. After leaving the island we will have 2 more extra stops. A quick one of around 10 minutes to seethe beautiful mangroves grown in this area and the second stop, longer, at the natural pool of “Palmilla”, an incredible sandbar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea famous for being the home of the giant starfish.
