Welcome to San José, Costa Rica.

Reception at Juan Santamaría airport and transfer to hotel in San José.

Day 2: SAN JOSÉ – ARENAL VOLCANO (3.5 HOURS APPROX.) 135 KMS

Day 3: ARENAL VOLCANO

This morning your journey continues to the warm Central Pacific coast. Manuel Antonio Park is considered one of natural jewels for its abundant diversity of wildlife. It is the smallest of the national parks in Costa Rica but also one of the most visited for its beautiful beaches. It has several trails for walking, viewpoints and the probability of crossing with animals in their natural habitat. At various points in the park, the trails branch off and lead to four separate beaches: Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondida, and Playita.

Day 5: MANUEL ANTONIO

Stop At: Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Province of Puntarenas
This day you will enjoy a catamaran tour. Departure in the afternoon for the summer season and departure in the morning for the winter season.

Day 6: MANUEL ANTONIO – SIERPE – CORCOVADO (1.5 HOURS APPROX.) 121 KMS

Departure in the morning towards Río Sierpe.

Your adventure begins at the ‘La Hacienda’ dock, in the quiet town of Sierpe where you will be transferred by boat for 90 minutes. The trip will take you through the largest mangrove wetland system on the Pacific coast of Central America, where you will have a good chance to observe monkeys, crocodiles and many birds. As you pass through the mouth of the river you will follow the coast where there is a chance to see dolphins and even whales.

Day 7: HUNCHBACK

Departure from the lodge for a walk in Corcovado National Park. Corcovado is the last sustainable-sized Pacific lowland rainforest in Central America and has been called “the most biologically intense place on earth.” The morning hours offer a good opportunity to observe wildlife and observe the incredible variety of birds that abound in the park. Day 8: HUNCHBACK

Boat tour to the spectacular Isla el Caño marine biological reserve, which was once an important ceremonial site and cemetery for pre-Columbian Indians. It has one of the most extensive coral formations and the best condition on the Pacific Coast of the country. A snorkeling tour will take place in a good place where you can observe a great variety of fish and marine mammals. Upon return, a picnic lunch is prepared and served at the lodge’s long beach ranch.

Day 9: CORCOVADO – SAN JOSÉ
