Itinerary

Day 1: San Jose – Costa Rica (Arrival)

Stop At: Kiosco San Jose, Calle 7, Avenida 11, Barrio Amon, San Jose Costa Rica
Arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica – Welcome you at the San Jose International Airport and transfer to your HOtel in San Jose city
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 2: San Jose To Tortuguero National Park

Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
6:30 am aprox we will pick you up at the Hotel – and transfer to Guapiles City – Breakfast in route

10:00 am  Aprox. Board a comfortable boat upon arrival to the port – transfer to Tortuguero 

Cocktail and Lunch included / enjoy nature in all its splendor by touring the canals and taking your best photos.

Day 3: Tortuguero National Park

Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
7:00 a.m Discover the flavors of Costa Rica with breakfast at the Lodge.

9:00 a.m Walking tour the Lodge’s private trail.

1: 00 p.m Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Lodge.

2: 45 p.m After lunch, we will visit the museum, the beach and the small and picturesque city of Tortuguero.

7:00 p.m A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge .

Optional tour in the evening: Evening walk to admire green turtles spawning (July to September)

Day 5: Cahuita National Park

Stop At: Cahuita National Park, Cahuita Costa Rica
Cahuíta National Park Reserve are worldwide recognized, not only because of their natural beauty but because they are becoming unique conservation places in almost the whole Caribbean. The Cahuita National Park measures 1067 hectares, including 240 hectares of reef that extend outward from Cahuita Point. The tropical forest shelters various animals, among which are the following: pacas, racoons, Northern tamanduas, opposums, porcupines and capuchin monkeys. The marshes in the park contain many other animals, like the green iguanas, basilisks, gigantic blue crabs and many species of birds, like frigatebirds, green ibis, blue herons, gulls and others. In Cahuita you will be able to enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches. There is a camping area that includes toilets, showers and changing rooms for all those how want swim in this little paradise.

Day 6: Cahuita to Arenal Volcano

Stop At: Arenal Volcano National Park 21007 Costa Rica
Am/This day you will be transferred to Arenal Volcano area

Day 7: Arenal Volcano (ATV adventure)

Stop At: Arenal Volcano National Park 21007 Costa Rica
After to pick you up at your hotel near to La Fortuna or the Arenal Volcano area We start this Arenal ATV adventure with a little explanation of how to drive, the security rules and a driving practice, we will go to a private farm, through a beautiful view of nature, trees, birds and animals. We will drive to the Arenal River going through La Guaria town, once at the river you can take a shower, rest for a while and come back to the restaurant to have a delicious lunch

Day 8: Arenal to Monetverde (Lake crossing) car/boat/car

Stop At: Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna de San Carlos Costa Rica
This service, half tour – half transfer is an scenic, fast and the newest way to go or come from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano Area), to the Monteverde area.

Around 7:30 a.m. we start picking everybody from the hotels in La Fortuna for a 30 minutes microbus drive to the Arenal Lake Dam.

There we will aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes (aprox.) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake.

Arenal Lake is the largest and the most important lake in Costa Rica, it was man made in 1974 to provide hydroelectric energy for the country. It is also a place where you can find different kinds of resident and migratory birds. Sometimes mammals can be seen in the surroundings, also great views of the Arenal Volcano when it’s clear

Day 9: Monteverde (Sky Park Adventure)

Stop At: Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, 22 MI Southeast Of Tilaran 35 km, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve 55-5655 Costa Rica

Day 10: Monteverde to Manuel Antonio

Stop At: Playa Manuel Antonio, Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, 6 kms south of Quepos, Manuel Antonio 195-6350 Costa Rica
At the agreed time , you will be transferred from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio National Park

Manuel Antonio is the jewel of the Pacific Coast that is home to one of the top beaches in the world located within Manuel Antonio National Park. It is one of the smallest parks in Costa Rica but it is the most visited due to its varied fauna with 109 species of mammals and 184 of birds.

This park is just south of Quepos on the Pacific Coast, 132 km from San José. It is so popular because of its expansive white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. The town of Manuel Antonio is small but host several hideaway hotels and luxury vacation rentals. In this small town, you can enjoy the fresh fruits and veggies from the “feria” (weekly market), have a five star meal at many of the restaurants, hire a private chef to cook for you or mix in with the locals and join them eating a “casado”(typical Costa Rican meal) at any of the “sodas”(little local restaurants).

Whether you are a wildlife lover, adventure seeker or you just want to be a beach bum, the array of activities is endless and you can book several tours to help you enjoy your tropical paradise vacation
