Itinerary
Day 1: WELCOME TO COSTA RICA
Stop At: San Jose, San Jose, San Jose Metro, Province of San Jose
Arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package with vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to Hotel Radisson or similar and free time at leisure.

Day 2: TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK
Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
Continuing the journey through the lower parts of the Costa Rican Caribbean, crossing extensive plantations of bananas, pineapple, cocoa and other agricultural products common in the area, we will reach Caño Blanco, an area of rivers and lagoons where a boat awaits us and will take us to deeper in the jungle and our final destination Tortuguero.
The boat trip will take about 90 minutes and it will be a one-in-a lifetime experience surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna. Upon arrival to Pachira Lodge, enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious Lunch. After you get your room, get comfortable for explore the area and visit the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge.

Day 3: TORTUGUERO
Stop At: Tortuguero National Park, Tortuguero Costa Rica
Discover Costa Rican flavors as you enjoy breakfast at PACHIRA LODGE. Get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well-known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. After the tour, Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. During the afternoon, take your time to enjoy our private trails, ride a boat through the canals or just relax. Dinner at the hotel. OPTIONAL NIGHT TOUR: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September). Note: Entrance fee to Tortuguero Park not included. This is $15 and must be paid directly to the National Park Administration.

Day 4: ARENAL VOLCANO
Stop At: La Fortuna de San Carlos, La Fortuna de San Carlos, Arenal Volcano National Park, Province of Alajuela
After breakfast hotel check out and departure to our next destination. On the middle of the way and after lunch, you will meet your private transportation and proceed overland to Arenal Volcano. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Arenal Paraiso. Free time.

Day 5: COMBO ADVENTURE TOUR
Stop At: Sarapiqui, Sarapiqui, Province of Heredia
After a full Costa Rican breakfast, you will experience a great adventure in Costa Rica. The Adventure Combo Tour is a combination of 2 of the most adventurous tours in Costa Rica. The Canopy Tour and the Whitewater Rafting. These 2 activities in just one day. The Canopy Tour has a total of 12 cables and 17 platforms, 7 of which are build on trees between 60 and 90 feet high. This unique experience will take you through a canyon where you start from the edge at the ground and after several tree and ground platforms you end at a landing platform on the ground crossing the canyon 2 or 3 times. The whitewater rafting leaves at the Hacienda’s put-in and runs 13 Km. to Chilamate, with an average gradient of 1.2%. It can be run year-round and no previous experience is required. Lunch included at the Hacienda Pozo Azul. After the tour, hotel’s return. Dinner included at the lodge.
