Itinerary

During the Renewable Energies tour, our clients will be able to know the process for the production of energy step by step. Upon entering the Hydroelectric Plant, the route begins at the water intake, followed by the conduction channel, reservoir, pressure pipe and the powerhouse, where the turbines that move the generators are located. Finally, they will be able to visualize how the water is returned to the river in the same or better conditions than it was taken.
At the end of this tour, you will be able to taste a delicious typical lunch, prepared and served by colleagues from a local cooperative, allied to this project as a source of employment and community development.
As an additional attraction to the tour, the Carbon Tour is offered, which takes place on a path inside the Hydroelectric Plant, where the importance of protecting forest areas is shown. In these trails, an explanation is provided of how Carbon is fixed in the forest and the environmental importance of this process. This activity is complemented by a practical exercise in which you can measure and sample carbon fixation within plots.
