Tamarindo is known for its incredible beaches and surfing. Being surrounded by all the amazing surf, our instructors offer a unique learning experience for all ages and abilities. Surfing with the locals, you will find yourself quickly picking up the skills needed to join the line up. Surfing offers more than just fun, it is therapeutic and rejuvenating, connecting with the ocean and its calming properties.
Itinerary
You will learn the fundamentals of surfing, and how to feel safe and confident in the water. Our instructors will work with you both in and out of the water, giving you tips on how to be successful. You will be assisted in the water until you feel fully confident to catch some waves on your own!
To start, an instructor will work outside the water with you going over the technique of paddling, how to stand up and find your balance, and how to catch a wave on your own! Once you feel confident you will enter the water and the real fun will begin.
Our lessons are 2 hours, with certified and experienced local instructors.
A safe place to put your things and a rash-guard are included.
We are kid and family friendly and can accommodate any age, size, ability, or experience level. We guarantee you will have the best time learning to surf and have fun in the process!
