Private Tiki Boat Experience in Caye Caulker

Introducing the Friki Tiki pontoon boat - Caye Caulker's FIRST and currently ONLY tiki boat on the entire island! This experience allows you to book the Friki Tiki for your own private group! Your booking comes with your own Captain for the Friki Tiki for 6-7 hours beginning at 10 AM. We will provided a suggested itinerary for this private experience, however it is completely customizable. The Captain is limited to operating the pontoon wherever is safe and provides safe water and weather conditions. Please note, the Captain will only remain around the island of Caye Caulker and therefore this experience is best if you are staying on the island! The suggested itinerary includes tarpon feeding, manatee spotting, a guided snorkel tour of the South Channel on the reef, swimming with nurse sharks and rays on the reef, and more! This experience includes rum punch (for those who are at least 18 years old), regular fruit punch, water, Belizean cheese dip, ceviche and fresh sliced fruits.

10:15 AM - Arrive at Tarpon Pit to feed and view the tarpons! These large tarpon fish have been protected and fed by a local family for decades and thus have become a staple attraction of the island. You will get to view these large creatures in the crystal clear waters as well as feed them yourself! They jump up excitedly as you feed them and it is quite the experience! Don't worry - your certified Belizean Tourism Board Tour Guide will show you how!

10:30 AM - Arrive at Manatee Spotting location just off of The Split to (hopefully) spot some manatees! There is a location on the bay side of Caye Caulker Island, fairly closed to The Split, where manatees search for food and inhabit the area. They are often spotted by their grayish/pinkish color in the clear waters.

11:00 AM - Depart the Manatee Spotting area and cruise through The Split heading to the reef! The cruise to the South Channel will be approximately 15 - 25 minutes and passengers will get to enjoy the stunning views of the Caribbean Ocean, Caye Caulker Island, and the reef!

11:30 AM - Arrive at the South Channel on the Mesoamerican Reef! Enjoy a guided snorkel at this location. The guided snorkel will take you through parts of the South Channel on the reef where you will view stunning corals and underwater marine life. Just some of the species you will most likely see are parrot fish, lionfish, butterfly fish and more!

12:00 PM - Depart and arrive at Shark & Ray Alley for a refreshing swim with the sharks and rays! Shark and Ray Alley is only about a 5-10 minute cruise from the South Channel. Once at Shark and Ray Alley, enter the water in a great location where the water is great for standing and enjoying the nurse sharks and stingrays!

12:30 PM - Depart Shark & Ray Alley and take a cruise around the South Point of Caye Caulker Island. Cruise around the island where you can view South Point and Eden Isle areas of the island. We will dock at Pelican Sunset Restaurant for lunch from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM. Please kindly note that lunch is not included in the cost of this experience, as detailed in the exclusions.

2:45 PM - Depart lunch and take a very short cruise to Iguana Reef Beach to enjoy their waterside bar and lounge chairs. View seahorses and stingrays and relax on the beautiful beach. Swings in the water and dock on site. Enjoy the beautiful beach, bar and scenery and unwind after lunchtime.

5:00 PM - Break until 5:00 PM departure for Sunset Cruise. Cruise up along the North Side of the island for great views of the sunset. If you are lucky we will see dolphins! Enjoy views of the North Side of the island and stunning views of the Caribbean Ocean during prime sunset time. This experience concludes at 6:30 following this sunset cruise.
